"This review has nothing to do with the Dasher (who was a hero for crossing the busy street to get to my apartment, nor is this aimed towards the employees at KFC who are just doing their job. This is about the company and their inflating business deals. I feel slightly cheated by these portion sizes. The chicken was fine even if it wasn't extra crispy. I remember when extra crispy used to mean extra batter but these days I guess it just means fried longer. The chicken tastes different too- reminds me of the chicken that the deli department at Meijer's. I dont mind how shriveled the pieces look but it is weird to see the chicken crammed into this small bucket. It is disappointing how small the side items have become. The 8pc meal is advertised to come with 2 large sides so I got mashed potatoes with no gravy (because not all of us want gravy on their mash), and the Mac n Cheese. The mashed potatoes container had alot of space and gaps. I measured a cup and a half of mash, essentially each person getting about 2 or 3 tablespoons worth of mash. This wasnt even enough to feed 3 people let alone 4. There was supposed to be 4 biscuits but they weren't in the bag- and the bag was glued shut so it was packaged like that, but thats fine cause none of us liked those biscuits. Im glad I got the extra side of coleslaw and had the gravy seperatebecause this just shows how far KFC is going downhill as a business. After everything was divided up, it wasnt even that filling. I was looking forward to fried chicken for a long time and now I'm just disappointed and down $60. I won't be buying from KFC again."
