"I've never understood the UK and Irish obsession with peas and have always hated them. I can no longer say that. Minted Pea & Bacon Salad was really, really surprisingly good. I tried it on a whim because I really wanted to know why they use peas like we Americans use fries or mashed potatoes, Peas, peas with everything and I've always refused... but now, I'm a convert. Next thing you know I'll be drinking tea with milk and using the letter U way more than normal. I came here because i love anything in pastry, but also colcannon, which I haven't tried here yet.
