It was really heavy on the dark chocolate, which I know some people like, but for me it was too much chocolate and not enough actual cookie. I honestly can’t tell much of a difference between them no matter where I get one. It was definitely better than the burnt cookie. I don’t remember them advertising that it had chocolate filling too, which makes me think it might just be a regular chocolate croissant that they filled it in with pistachio sauce. (I’m pretty sure I’ve ordered it before and it didn’t have chocolate inside, but I could be wrong.) Now for the main part, the coffee. I’m kind of disappointed because I actually liked their salted caramel latte before, but this lavender one just wasn’t it. It lacked real flavor, and I could still see coffee grounds in the cup, which is not the biggest deal but still noticeable. ( this points to either poor cleaning, an inexperienced barista, or a problem with the machine.) It basically tasted like a regular latte with just a hint of lavender. Not bad, but nothing special either. I also think the espresso was a bit burnt. I will say though, I’m glad it was at least espresso forward. Lately I feel like a lot of coffee shops just give you a cup of milk, so at least this one actually had a noticeable coffee taste, especially for over seven dollars. Overall, I think the place has gone downhill since the last time I ordered. The first time I was pleasantly surprised, but this time not so much. I don’t think I would spend my money here again unless I was going in person. (6.9 out of 10)"
