I have always loved Gyros, I have been going to Grecian Delight for over 20 years because I love their Gyros. Until I ordered one from Hook's about 6 months ago. Hook's Gyro is HUGE, and so incredibly delicious! Nothing can compare to the inc taste and the gigantic size. They are bigger than burrito that you get from Hot Heads, they are loaded with a ton of delicious meat then topped with fresh lettuce, onion, tomatoes, and cucumber sauce. I order one at least once a week and could never get tired of them because they really do taste that amazing. For around $12 you are getting a gyro so large it is almost impossible to eat all of it at once and fries are included. You can barley get a nasty combo meal at the chain restaurants for that price. I also LOVE their breaded mushrooms! Hook's is amazing. I'm not sure how it is possible but it tastes better every time I eat there. I recommend Hook's to absolutely loves delicious quality food, and thank God they keep it so affordable too."

"The food came piping hot which is how I like it. They packaged it well, the salads did leak a little despite their efforts however they were filled to the max with food in the container whichi appreciate! The lamb biriyani is delicious with juicy soft chunks of lamb that have been marinated and cooked perfectly. I got a spice level 3 or medium for all the food and it was as expected. I requested no peas and also had a special request for the chicken curry which were both followed through! The curry was also good and even better with garlic naan to dip. I enjoyed the daal /lentil soup especially since you can request a spice level. All the salads I ordered were fresh and tasty; the chicken salad wasn't what I expected but my mistake and it tasted good but im saving this for lunch tomorrow (I was thinking spreadable chicken salad and it was a salad with chicken). Overall im happy with everything received, great service with special requests which i'm glad they kept this field open while ordering. Many restaurants chose to not take special requests and it makes it difficult with food sensitivities. We will be ordering again :) "

"The 14oz AUSTRALIAN WAGYU NY STRIP was outstanding, perfectly prepared, as was the 16oz Prime Rib. The sides were delicious though we got very little GRILLED ASPARAGUS, but since it was cooked to the exactly correct degree of crispness that's ok. The SEASONAL RISOTTO was rich and creamy with just the right bite, and the POTATO MILLE - FEUILLE was tender inside while a crisp golden brown outside. And, they did all of this while dealing with my partner's onion allergy. I was prepared to be unimpressed, but they proved me completely wrong. This was one of the best meals we've eaten, and worth every penny."

I only take off one star because they failed to cook my burger medium rare as requested (this is the only time that has happened. Previous orders were perfect), and they didn't provide napkins even though I requested them. Their description is that it's a 6 napkin burger (it is!), so you'd think napkins would be a given. That said, I will order again (and again and ...) because it is that unique, that delicious, that special. If you love fresh burgers made with topnotch meat and mushrooms, this is the only burger you'll ever need!"
