"First, this is weird, but it tasted great. But the lasagna was tiny! maybe 3" x 4" by 1" high. For $22 i was expecting a pretty hearty meal. It was barely a snack. And I got foccacia to sop up what I expected to be sauce from the hearty lasagna. Nope. 2 bites and the sauce was done. And what they are calling foccacia is dry, extra thin, toasted pizza crust. It was a glorified cracker. Not what I have ever had anywhere that was called foccacia. I ate maybe half of it because, well, it truly was cracker-like. Tasted good, just not foccacia like any I've ever had.
My wife's magnini was on the same foccacia. She said it was tasty, but weird. Hot on the bottom, cold on top.
All in all, we're adventurous enough to try new places often enough. This is not one we will ever get again. Sorry Hot Italian, great taste, disappointing meal. Especially at the price point. Twice what it should have been."

"I didn't have time to take a photo. But it's my favorite pizza of all time (and I've been to Chicago and NY for "the best of the best.") "This restaurant blew this massive group order OUT OF THE PARK!! Not a single dish wasn't packed with delicate yet powerful flavor that had *someone* licking the containers for everything! My first time ordering the spaghetti, and--wow--just as good as their "better than sex" lamb chops, salmon steak in a lemon cream and caper sauce... uggghhh.... (oh, and the calamari steak??? I don't think I can ever have calamari any other way again!). The stuffed porch chops could have had a slightly sweeter glaze, but even those were devoured like we were all converting kosher in the morning! The Marsala wine ribbon pasta (sans chili--cus who wants pain when there's that much yummy in their mouth) was pure heaven... "crying emoji." The salads were *perfection.* Honestly (I wouldn't normally share this), but this was supposed to be someone in the group's "last supper." The food and company was so good that it convinced them to keep trying out the daily dishes of life for just a little while longer. (No exaggeration.) Thank you to all who helped to make this happen.
