New to Toronto, the other day I passed by this restaurant on the way to an appkintment. The beef Doener is was not only toasted exactly as crispy as it would be in Germany. But also the amount of meat was really generous - not a trace of the otherwise so very common greasy, not thoroughly cooked and lacking presentation of what is called 'Shawarma' in Canada. And in most cases left nothing but regret in my for ever ordering that sad excuse of a great grilled meat. I absolutely recommend this place German Doener Kebab to anyone who looks for a delicious but quick bite to eat - it is the best I have found so far in Canada and really coming close to the true German version of the original Turkish idea."

"Tried this place out after my usual halal place suffered a deterioration in quality. Shah's is a top-tier restaurant not only by halal standards but for cuisine in general. "Ordered the Chicken Rice and a Barbican drink via DoorDash delivery. The restaurant forgot to include my drink, so I had to go through DoorDash customer service to get a refund for that item. As for the Chicken Rice, I was a bit disappointed as the portion was so small. The rice in the container was only about 0.5 inch deep, and the chicken pieces were minimal and sparse, so I literally finished the whole thing in a couple of bites. For the price of the dish, I expected a larger portion of chicken and rice.
