The meat was extremely dry and lacked flavor, and there was a lot of it but barely any cheese, so the balance was off. I also ordered plantains, and the description didn’t mention they would be covered in sugar and cinnamon. I wouldn’t have ordered them if I had known, since I was looking for something lighter. Even the consomé that came with the birria didn’t have much flavor—it just tasted like a plain broth. The spicy peanut dumplings are SO good! Flavorful inside & out! Loved the sauce! Has a tiny kick but I love spicy and could even add more chili oil to it.
