"Excellent dinner choice! The Burritos with Mexican GB was better than any other place we have ordered from.. The seasoning made the difference. It isn't a dinner so we ordered a side of Rice & Beans which came in a small bowl together. Between the burrito and rice and beans dinner was very filling for husband. The shredded pork Enchiladas were delicious, shredded and chunks of slow cooked seasoned pork very flavorful. A little dry it only had a small amount of enchilada sauce that was used in baking no extra sauce. This is better than floating in sauce like too many places do hiding poor quality food in bland sauce. This was of homemade quality made with love. The Camaron taco was a surprise, served in 2 small corn soft tortillas grilled onions fresh cilantro no skimpy amount, enough to taste it but didn't over power the 3 medium size shrimp which were cooked to perfection. It included a wedge of lime/limon. That one taco was well worth the price. Tanqueria El Jalapeno stands out among west side Madison Mexican restaurants. With full tummies and big satisfied smiles we have a new go to favorite!"

"The salad was great! They really don’t hold back - it was packed and balanced with ingredients. I’ve been working a lot of overtime, so this was just what I needed. Nourishing and refreshing, it really helped get me through a grueling work week. "

"It was mostly all wilted lettuce. There was 2 pieces of chicken, 5 pieces of corn, no Parmesan cheese, no salt and pepper, 2 garbanzo beans, 4 pieces of tomato, a few pieces of shredded cheddar, and 2 pieces of cucumber. I've gotten the same salad from here 2 other times, and it's been great. This time was gross and inedible."

"Everything was so authentic and very very very good! I was missing fresh herbs and vegetables for NS4. Spicy Beef Shank Noodle Soup / 顺化牛肉粉 which would have been perfection. The C2. Nam's Fried Rice / Nam’s 招牌炒饭 was so good with pieces of Vietnamese sausage in it. The FN3. rice Stick Noodle Sautée / 本楼炒河粉es was authentic, was so delicious!"

"Pho with Brisket 牛腩越南粉 had a well-balanced flavor. Unlike some other pho in the area, the pho here was not too sweet and perfect with noodles. The briskets were tender. 1st pho in Madison I've tried. Though the lid of the soup box was somehow sticky with a few soup on it, which did not bother, but it would be perfect without it."

"So much food! So much flavor! Great way to spend a cold day sick in bed. Definitely adding to my favorites list. Love that the broth is sent separately so the noodles don't get soggy. Toddler loves the hand pulled noodles and drinking spoonfuls of the broth."
