"The coffee is the best as always! i got the Spicy Steak Sandwich this time and the bread was soggy(i know it's hard to prevent that) but the hash rown was barely cooked and soggy as well. also the meat tasted funny and not a big fan of the sauce. i stop eating out when i realize i can make better food at home. the convenience of DD is not worth it anymore, especially with my order being $30 for a coffee and a sandwich. i hate to leave a bad review because i love the environment of 1889 and the staff are always super nice and helpful. i just think the sandwich could use some love. ill be back for my White Mocha <3 "

I don't even need to mention their drinks because we all know about those. That's what made them so famous that they are on every street it seems like in certain parts of the US. It seems like it's either Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. But back to the food, the Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich is my daughter's favorite thing to eat from here. Both of us are obsessed with bacon. I'm almost 40 and I have been obsessed over good bacon since I was literally able to eat it. Well this sandwich has the BEST bacon. It's thick and they give you a lot. Definitely not that paper thin nasty fake bacon McDonald's uses. I accidentally ordered the wrong sandwich. I ordered the Tomato & Mozzarella on Focaccia but I meant to order their turkey pesto and red pepper sandwich. I can't eat tomatoes, so sorry my friends, I have to defer the taste tasting to the boyfriend who is at his job right now. But I can tell y'all as a side note that the turkey sandwich is incredibly yummy. Warm or cold, I can eat it both ways and it's still just so good. So you may be wondering why only 4 stars and not 5? It's because I'd prefer for Starbucks to not be so expensive. Maybe just take it down a couple notches so I wouldn't mind ordering from these guys more often. At this point I know that if we are ordering from Starbucks it's going to be super expensive."
