The General Tso's was like gummy vegan meat substitute product swimming in globs of some unnaturally sweet thick processed corn syrup bordering on gelatin consistency... The $3 Egg Roll (1) was thick and doughy, not crispy, and more roll than filling. Something I've never experienced before in my many years of Chinese American food. But for $3 it should be superior. The Fried Chicken Wings had a gamey barnyard taste AND smell! They were fried decently but completely unseasoned...but the smell! The D1. Thai Sticky Rice was a the worst I've ever had and I order this any time I see it on a menu. It was more than sticky, it was one complete dried patty of very old, (sweet) congealed rice. It gets one star for being edible food, but I was looking forward to something delicious and literally EVERYTHING was disappointing. It was obvious lack of care and extremely low quality ingredients. I don't know who Mr. K is but he must be dead. The people who got this place on the Food Network must not work there anymore. It has the tell tale signs of a restaurant past its prime, living off the good old reputation someone else built, and trying to cut corners to save money while overcharging. "

"I absolutely LOVE this Braised Beef with Rice but I had them substitute the Udon for the rice because it was so wonderful in the soup that I had the night before that I never added it to the Beef broth that I had just had the night before from this same place. It was delivered hot perfectly and I did put a note in saying please give me enough bok choy, broccoli & braised beef & they listened! The baby bok choy & broccoli were cooked perfectly & the beef short rib meet was tender cooked perfectly and Not all fat at all and was easy to chew unlike places that use cheaper cuts. I asked for a cup of ice on the side with no ice in the Thai Tea two nights in a row and they followed directions. It was amply provided both nights so I could keep frozen ice in my freezer in advance. I can say that the Thai Tea was made well not with cruddy tea powder mix and it was a genuinely not skimpy generous size 16oz I think, unless I did not eyeball that size correctly & tasted great! Oh and they are open for DoorDash orders on Fridays & Saturdays until 10:00pm :)"

"The mapo tofu with beef is absolutely delightful - nice mala touch and the beef is tender. Also love that they use silken tofu for this dish. The pan fried pork dumplings have a nice ratio of dumpling dough to filling, and great taste. The pork soup dumplings are good but could have benefited from something green mixed in with the filling. The wonton soup is lovely and they have wonderful dried soup noodles to go with them - enough oil that they don't dissolve right away!. Also want to mention the Fish Filet with Fresh Chili Peppers - this portion is huge, quite spicy (don't inhale while swallowing!) - but full of flavor and the fish is delightful. Not overly hot but swallow with care. Out of the park!"

Another love, which frankly took a minute is their fish filet with fresh chili peppers - first, this is a huge portion and second, don't inhale when you go to take a bite, the spice is real. But addictive and really wonderful once you treat it with the respect it deserves! Pork soup dumplings are nice but could have used something (scallions? ginger?) in the pork filling mix.
