"When I think about what I ordered, Enchiladas (2) (barbacoa) with refried beans and rice... I think about how much better another restaurant could make it. The answer is not much better. Good food made with high-quality ingredients, at a fair price. This is what America is all about. My only complaint was that the Flan was not included with my order (refunded). I believe that it was so good that it already sold out before I got there around nighttime. But I won't let this be the end, I must try ordering it again. As far as suggestions go, it would've been helpful to know on DoorDash if chips are included or not. I ordered Chips because I wasn't sure of this. In addition, the food partially melted the styrofoam container it was in. So perhaps switching to a heat-resistant material may help preserve that authentic taste. "All Taco de Pulpo Enchilado / Enchilado Octopus Taco, Tacos de Camarón o Pescado (1) / Shrimp or Fish Tacos and Quesataco de Birria de Res / Beef Birria Quesataco we're all made with homemade corn tortillas that had a nice char on them as if they were pressed on the grill like a panini would be which added to the texture and flavor and they were all well filled with sufficient meat, however I had ordered a Taco de Pescado but received a Taco de Camarón which was disapointing. I highly recommend these though. The Taco a la Gobernador / Governor Style Taco had the traditional soft corn tortilla and was presented well with shrimp that appeared fried, colorful cabbage slaw mix and topped with a dollop of an aioli or flavored crema. Unfortunatly the shrimp still had the tails on which although it may look nice, its impractical to keep tails on when in a taco since you have to pick the shrimp out of the taco from underneath the slaw and sauce to remove the tail and so my husband ended up eating them separately and was left with a slaw taco. He didnt do this purposely however, he just didn't know that the two tails sticking up out of the taco were the only 2 shrimp in the taco. These are not street taco size but a more traditional size taco so i would expect more than 2 shrimp in a $7 shrimp taco...at least 3 or 4. The flavor was good though. "

"My husband is from Guatemala and orders Pescado Campestre all the time and loves it. Today he tried the Huachinango Relleno / Stuffed Red Snapper and it's enough for him to have 2 full meals even with his big appetite. According to him, the food is authentic and Mariscos Los Altos is a great place to get the seafood dishes that remind him of home that I'm not able to make myself and it gives me an evening out of the kitchen...so its a win win. I wish I had a photo because it always looks impressive, but he digs in too quickly. Its not cheap but you definitely get your moneys worth...we highly recommend!"
