"This was my first time purchasing the 'Cuban sandwich' outside of Miami, where it's a staple and known sandwich to eat. For my taste, the sandwich was good, not great. The pork was a bit dry with little to no flavor. In addition, the bread was soggy which I expected considering this was for delivery. Because I have a sandwich presser, I was able to revive the bread to bring it up to a toasted like consistency. I am sure eating the sandwich onsite would be a better choice.
The Ham Croquettes (6), are fair in taste, nothing to rave about. I have purchased them a few times to satisfy a craving and it's sometimes been a hit or miss. In this case they were a hit. I like the fact the croquettes were not at room temperature and had a nice crunch with every bite. I just wish they were made in-house. What a difference this would make in overall taste.
As someone who grew up eating homemade croquettes as well as those from the local bakery and, even the frozen kind, these are the typical Catalina (perhaps another brand) frozen croquettes with an ingredient list that is unnecessary when considering the original recipe only calls for a few simple ingredients. The mayo aioli is a nice side dip which compliments the croquettes.
The Beef Empanadas (2) were tasty but a bit greasy and soft (again, it could be due to the delivery). They were well filled with a good amount of seasoned ground beef. Not sure that the dough used for the Beef Empanadas (2) is made in-house. Again, something that would also make a difference in taste by elevating the empanada.
Overall, if you are craving comfort food such as the above mentioned and do not have the time and/or ingredients on hand to make them at home, this is a good place to consider. "

"Okay, I have to be upfront because we only use Door Dash a little, but sometimes choose places that we want to try in-person at a later time.
I would 100 percent go to this cafe and will likely become a regular customer, but come on $3.74 for a tiny piece of BAKLAVA. I don't need a huge piece of baklava, but would like a piece that is large enough to have a fork-size or spoon-size bite for three or four days. As a tidbit of advice for Taziki's--I did the add-on today so that means my Baklava was $7.28 with service fee and extra tip. I know you can't help that, but here's the thing, the little things in this large city make a big difference b/c of the whole repeat customer--in person--opportunity.

"I have eaten at Taziki's several times over the years, but the last couple of times I order the lamb, I got a little lamb and a lot of gristle. Really chewy with lots of connective tissue that should have been removed. The cucumber and tomato salad is wonderful and the food really is pretty good overall, but if you like lamb, you can find better than what I've been getting of late."
