"Always love American Soul Kitchen. Ordered two Fried Chicken Dinners, one with Mac & Cheese and Collards and one with Mac & Cheese & Cabbage. They called to say they didn't have cabbage so we ordered two collards, which was fine. We usually get a wing, thigh and drum or breast. This time we got two wings and a thigh in one and three wings in the other. Overall great meals as usual but would love consistency on chicken pieces or option to order white meat/dark meat. "

"The chicken and fries are great but they always forget the side of special sauce for the Tenders & Fries! This is the second time in the past month they forgot. The only option on the DoorDash app for another side besides French fries is brussels sprouts, they gave me a large portion but the grease from the sprouts leaked all over the inside of the bag and food items. Its was hard to eat on the go- almost impossible. They need to have coleslaw as an option for side. I will not get the sides from now on since the options are limited. "

"I remember the original Johnson fish Market. I was skeptical, but a few of my friends said they were good. So I decided to try them. I was very disappointed. 1) The Fish Sandwich , was a little too salty, they put the tarter sauce on the sandwich, with tomatoes, and a sesame seed bun. problem, I don't eat seeds, tomatoes, I would have preferred to put on my own tartar sauce.
2) Lima Bean , I'm a soup lover and I really wanted to try the soup. Another let down, they did not say what was in the soup. Pork neck bones, and the taste was weird, so I poured the soup in my pot and added chicken bullion and let it cook a little more, no it still tasted weird, I ended throwing it out.
3) Hush Puppies (7 Pieces) , I love hushpuppies, the hushpuppies wasn't right, again very disappointing. They tasted more like cornbread, no taste of onions, they weren't crispy
4) The Peach Cobbler, it wasn't homemade, so after all the disappointments, I put it in my refrigerator.

"I wanted to like it sooo bad because I am a fan of Chief Marcus Samuelsson. But the chicken wasn't crispy at all and the skin ate rubbery. The corn bread wasn't bad, it was dry though. The bottom of the corn bread was good (I think they put butter on the bottom). I wasn't a fan of the banana pudding by Magnolia Bakery (and it is expensive to buy) or the cookie butter chocolate chip. I make a better banana pudding and it's out of the box. I won't be ordering from here again. "
