"From today's menu I chose the Best BBQ in the South!! (3 Meats). I got a double order of ribs (three bones each) and leg/thigh quarter. Sides were included, but unlike Sunday, you got no choice of what you would receive. That's okay, though, it's ALL good. Even eating my fill I have a reasonable amount remaining for later. This IS good barbecue. It's well worth the $17.00 charged for three meats."

"I order the 3 meats it came with a chicken leg quarter ribs and a pork chop. And it didn't disappoint. Everything was cooked to delicious perfection!! Hands down the best rice dressing in New Iberia. Ribs were tender and the porkchops were juicy. "

Did I mention how clean the restaurant is! The owners keep it immaculate! I had a recent severe bout of food poisoning from another place which made me really appreciate the clean sanitary conditions at The Annointed Soul Food even more. Just as importantly, their vegetable sides are perfect as well. It's been awhile since I've written a review for them but that's NOT because they don't deserve the accolades.
