If you are a non-vegan and have the experience of "wow this is so good for being vegan!", it's because it's non-vegan. I would not be surprised if the fries were prepared in animal fat.
As a business, it's a scam. They are serving Jack-in-the-Box quality food, slapping the label "vegan" on, and obscenely overcharging. They clearly had no idea how to prepare the one vegan item correctly delivered on our burger - the vegan patty, which was served without sufficient seasoning for a vegan burger. Even the side of pineapple was store-bought pineapple (label AND price still attached), that had been resold for an increased price.
