The 竹筒牛肉饭 Bamboo Beef Rice has zero bamboo and barely any beef. It just tasted like mediocre fried rice. I don't believe that the 酒香牛腩小土豆Claypot Beef Stew w. Potatoes had real potatoes. They were tiny and tasted like balls of passed dough instead. The part of the sauce which didn't leak into the delivery bag was flavorless, and the beef was more connective tissue than actual chunks of meat. The packaging was very nice though."

"I am a almost impossibly picky eater - vegan, celiac, no sugar, no seed oil, no gums, blah blah blah - which leaves me with precious few options for eating out. Oh, and I don' t like salad, ha. You get the point- there are not a lot of places that both meet my criteria AND make delicious, creative food. This place is fantastic. I had a bowl with cauliflower rice, pinto beans, kimchi, coconut sweet potatoes,and cashew cream sauce: 10/10 all around: taste, quality of ingredients, nutr density, all A+. I also had the Spicy Vegan broth and DUDE. It is perfect. If they sold it by the gallon I would haul a few on the plabe back to Cali with me. I come to NYC every other month for work and will definitely order these again next time. Sorry about the photo- i forgot to take one before i devoured it. Just added it so you'd know I'm not a bot ;). I should add that I also ordered a side of the Roasted Free-Range Chicken Side for my dog.
