All they had to do was steam six dumplings and throw the ribs on the grill. Should have been quick and easy at 7:30 on a Wednesday night. They missed the delivery time estimate badly and unfortunately the dumplings were cold by the time they arrived. Good food, poor service. Just to be clear- I know it's not the drivers fault. WOW! Ive had other 'Soul Food' restaurants in the area and this place is by far my favorite now. From the food down to the packaging, everything was incredible. The food is perfectly seasoned, which most soul food restaurants get wrong. They tend to over season or not season enough. I will say, I think the fried chicken could use just a touch more seasoning on the coating, but, still fantastic and cooked perfectly.
I cant choose a favorite from everything I tried because it was all so amazing. The cornbread is out of this world also!
