The 1 Fish Pack with Chips - Battered fish was too big for the box it was in so it got crushed in the lid and went cold, and despite selecting chicken salt, there wasn't any salt on the chips. "I eat here frequently, the owner is passionate and cares about the product he puts out, he doesnt take shortcuts and goes for quality every single time. more pizza shops should take some pointers from his business model, as that is what will make him a successful top of the area shop. ribs are nice, less fatty than other stores but taste practically identical. i haven't had the wings yet but look forward to it pizzas are superior quality to anything else youll find in the area, dont let the one size put you off, he is committed to perfecting the product he has before changing stuff such as sizes. garlic bread is fantastic, and his lunch time sandos are awesome the basil pesto with stracciatella is my personal favourite. highly recommend to give him a shot, 15/10"

"The bolognese is very delicious, you can tell it's slow cooked and it's got a nice balance between the meat and red sauce/tomato flavour. I just wouldn't recommend any of the cream based dishes... they sometimes arrive in a poor condition. The cream sauce can be split and this is more so because heavy cream based sauces are only ever great when they are served straight out of the kitchen. Unless they switch to cream meant for cooking at higher temperatures, it's sort of inevitable so I don't fault the restaurant for this too much. But the flavour is nice, I would happily order the carbonara and eat it fresh in house, just wouldn't order it to be delivered again. Other than that I absolutely love the food from this place! Their bolognese is one I find myself craving, it's so comforting and reminds me of one I'd get from an Italian Nonna. And the garlic bread is pretty great too! :) all in all, I'd give them 7/10."

"First time trying Pimpala Pizza, as my regular place is still closed for their Xmas break. My small 9" Mexican Pizza had a really good flavour, BUT I couldn't believe that I had to PAY an additional charge for the tomato base!! I'm not talking about a fresh tomato topping, (which I also added for an additional price) but the regular tomato base that's standard on almost all pizzas. Delivery time was very good (predicted 18-30 mins at 6.30pm on a Friday night) & I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived dead on the 20 min mark! It looked and tasted a bit light on toppings (compared to my usual Pappy's pizza) & the base was quite soft, rather than crisp, which made it sag, but it was still a very nice pizza.. I added garlic, fresh tomatoes & mushroom (as well as the tomato base) which I believe added $3.50-$4 to the base pizza cost of approximately $12.50. That's 30% of the cost of the pizza, which i feel is too much & to be honest I could neither see nor taste any mushroom. That said, it was definitely tasty and I would use them again at this time of the year."
