"First, be advised this is a popup kitchen inside iHop. That would be fine if they actually used different ingredients for the cheesesteak "restaurant ".
What I got instead , was a soggy roll not with chicken, thinly sliced like a cheesesteak but instead cubes of chicken, which barely touched a grill. No grilled onions. No cheese sauce. There was plenty of buffalo sauce which meant I couldn't even feed it to my dog..
It was absolutely terrible .
The donuts were supposed to come with caramel sauce, which they did not, and they were meh. 7 for about $8.
Oh, did I mention that the tiny cheesesteak that wasn't really cheesesteak was like $13 . Here I was expecting like a foot-long huge sandwich. And I got one that was maybe seven or 8 inches. But I really didn't end up mattering since I couldn't eat it. Shown with a McDonald's fry so you can get an idea of the size.

And everything was just thrown randomly into a clamshell. So I had falafel in the hummus and the pitas were all wet from condensation. It wasn't appetizing, and considering that this order cost over 40 bucks they should have done better. I spent a lot of years in the business and I know how important consistency is and this is going to be a problem here. BTW the grilled chicken was not very good. Tough little nugs of fairly flavorless chicken. The gyro meat was a much better choice when I ordered last time. This place has real potential but they need to work on some things. "Initially, clicked on disliked. But I want to be fair because it's not that there was anything wrong with any part of the food choices. It's just that I'm not accustomed to it. Have a feeling some people, like me, might need to develop a taste for this type of food. First time I've ordered from here. The mozzarella sticks were normal.
The chicken was ordered by choosing mild and hot. Since I didn't know how hot their hot would be. Both were spicy and yes the hot was real hot to me.
The coleslaw dressing was very runny. Pretty sure it was poured straight from a jar. But I'm use to that, so it tasted good. Needed more slaw though. lol
The big shocker for me, was the salad. Not really any lettuce, so to speak. But had other ingredients that a salad has and they were all fresh. It didn't look like their picture of their salad. I took a picture of what I received.

"My wife and I both ordered the two meat 2 Meat Combo. It was our first time ordering so we were both a little nervous. We both had the chopped brisket. I got the sausage and she got the chicken. We both also got the baked beans and mac and cheese for the sides. Neither of us were disappointed, the brisket had a good flavor by itself and the bbq sauce they gave was really good as well. Taking distance and travel time into consideration the food still managed to arrive to us somewhat warm still. We will definitely be ordering again. "
