Some French Onions have this tap water or murky taste to them, like they were made with water or not seasoned well. Their soup is not salty or underseasoned, just perfect. The Harvest Salad at the time was available but not anymore, but it is their BEST menu item for me. If you can get your hands on it during Winter, it is a must try! Our favorites were the braised beef with pappardelle, meatballs with polenta, and the rice ball app. These items were fantastic, decadent and had the best flavor, especially the polenta!! Our least favorite were pasta fagioli, the risotto side and the veal Parmesan. The soup tasted like chicken soup, risotto was chewy and had too many veggies that were almost raw. The veal Parmesan had a huge piece of meat, but it was a bit tough and the sauce was very tangy and had an aftertaste that actually caused heartburn. The cheesecake was delicious, but small portion and the blueberry cake was amazing!! We will come back to try other items and give the sauce one more chance."
