Villanorte really stands out on DoorDash. The food arrived fresh and clearly just made — not greasy, not heavy, and definitely not like a chain. Everything tasted homemade in the best way.
What surprised me most is how clean it feels. I’ve never ordered Mexican food and actually felt good afterward until now. Full of flavor without being oily or overdone. It’s comforting without being too much.
They also sell homemade tamales, which is huge. You don’t even need to go to downtown Detroit for good tamales anymore.
