"I hate writing reviews or complaining, but I specifically ordered from Deal Lake because their food is usually good & because of a Gluten-Free options (burger buns for this order). There were issues with all four dishes we ordered and it was so disappointing. The edges of the lettuce in casear salad were almost all brown and came without the grilled chicken (which cost extra). Dressing was bland. The pork chop came with the wrong vegetables (came w/asparagus instead of carrots) and the mashed potatoes were put under everything so they were super soggy & nowhere near as good as they have been in the past. The worst part may have been the bacon on the TWO Burgers on the DL we ordered. We specifically ordered dinner here for the Gluten-Free buns. The bacon on both burgers was severely uncooked & rubbery, it was actually stretchy. It all had to be taken off. Both orders came with French fries which were also cold. I know mistakes happen, I have worked in restaurants for years. So I feel bad even complaining. But to spend over $100 and receive what we did, was incredibly disappointing and we had been excited to try take out from here since the food is always good when dining in."

This week I was driving in Holmdel and saw the sign and I said I have to order soon. Today I was looking and I really wanted to have steak and eggs and I was thrilled to see that I could get hard boiled eggs with my meal. That is my just choice styled egg.
