"My favorite Korean spot, I just can't get enough of this place ever since moving here. At this point they probably know my name, that's how much I stand by this place. The chicken, no matter what kind you get, will be on point, fresh, and hot. They never overdue the flavors or sauce amounts. Soy Sauce & Garlic Chicken 간장 마늘 치킨 is my favorite. As far as soups, I only get the Kim Chi Tofu Soup 김치 순두부 , it really pairs well with anything. I wish they had purple rice here, but I digress. Always comes with Banchan as well, they truly take care of their customers. "

"I've been eating here since 2012 when I was a student. It was expensive back then but now the prices aren't justified. Each tofu dish is $23-25. For that price, I thought 1 order could feed 2 people but it's only big enough for one person (see photo). In addition, the banchan is tiny! They are tiny spoonfuls of veggies. I ordered two tofu soups but only received one tiny tray of banchan and one small container of rice. Thats not fair. We also ordered the Original Fried Chicken 프라이드 치킨 and it does not include any sauces. It is confusing because the order form has an option that says "extra sauce", which implies that your order already comes with sauce and asks if you want any additional. The fried chicken is good but it's not worth $2/piece. It's overpriced again and not sure if they're price gouging to make up the costs for opening their second location. "

Funnily enough I almost overlooked this place based on its name and branding - "Oh no, another 'healthy' restaurant that substitutes healthiness for deliciousness" I though to myself. Fortunately I was able to overcome my bias (partly due to other reviewers here) and decided to place an order. Wow! I am so glad I did. This is some top notch, expertly prepared Korean food. The pancakes are delicious, in particular I loved the kimchi pancake. They totally nailed the spicy pork too getting it just right in terms of flavor, spice and cooking. The purple rice is also very tasty, I consider it a superior side to regular white rice. Anyway, a true hidden gem...its yummy food disguised as a healthy place ;) Honestly nothing seemed inherently unhealthy, there are certainly a good amount of vegetable in each dish too and nothing was too oily. "I ordered 2 bento boxes and a rainbow roll through doordash for lunch and added express to make sure the food tastes as fresh as possible. The bento boxes come with rice, salad, miso, and 2 entrees and were $18 each. For the 1st bento box, I got chicken teriyaki and mixed tempura. The tempura looked fine but tasted really burnt. It tastes like they don't really change the oil or they're using burnt oil. The chicken tasted average, nothing special. The tempura sauce looked very oily before I even dipped anything into it. The 2nd bento, my wife got chicken katsu and salmon teriyaki. The salmon was well done and there were only 8 flimsy katsu pieces. It's almost like they flattened some chicken as much as possible, slapped some batter on it, and fried it. It was paper thin. Also the katsu sauce also was more like a jelly sauce in terms of consistency. The miso also tasted more like chicken broth and was very dark in color, even after stirring all the contents up. The Jumbo Shrimp Har Gaw 美味蝦餃皇 were so good with a little soy sauce and hoisin. The Steamed BBQ Pork Buns 蠔皇叉燒包 were so soft and so yummy. The Shanghai Pork Soup Dumplings 上海小籠包 were a little plain but still good. Pan Fried Pork Buns 特色生煎包 were sooo good, I wish they were a little more fried but the flavor was definitely there. "

I was excited to try this restaurant as I've been eyeing it for a while. while the portion sizing was good, the taste was bland and lackluster. nothing tasted seasoned. the Deep Fried Shrimp Dumplings 酥炸明蝦角 were hard, the Pan Fried Pork Buns 特色生煎包 had pork and cabbage inside, but also wasn't seasoned. the Fried Rice (Vegetable, Chicken, Beef, Pork, or BBQ Pork) 炒飯 (菜, 雞, 牛, 猪, 或叉燒) lacked any color. the Pot Stickers 香煎鍋貼 were just okay, but also lacked flavor. I didn't finish anything I ordered and it was most definitely not worth the $70 bill. I would not order this again."

"The ribs in the BBQ Rib Plate were fall off the bone tender like always. I've never had ribs from this place that don't meet that description. It comes with sliced white bread, sauces, pickles and raw white onion. Good portion. Order early in case they sell out! Same with the mac and cheese."

"I love Stay Gold's Deli. I've gotten a bunch of their sandwiches and they're all great. I usually get their deli sandwiches but their barbecue sandwiches are phenomenal as well. My only disappointment was with Tutt's Tuna. It had good flavor but was portioned way smaller than the pictures. I probably wouldn't order that one again."
