I chose the smoked sausage, pulled pork, and ribs, with garlic mashed potatoes on the side. Pulled pork: Dry and bland—definitely a letdown. Ribs: Only two bones, and slightly undercooked. Probably not something most people would catch, but I did. The flavor didn’t impress either. Smoked sausage: I’m a big fan of Texas-style smoked sausage, and while these were okay, they weren’t anything memorable. Probably the best of the three, though. Garlic mashed potatoes: Just alright. Heavy on the garlic and not much else. My wife ordered a burger with mac and cheese. She didn’t have much to say about it—no complaints, but no compliments either. Honestly, I don’t know how this place has over 2,000 ratings on DoorDash with a 4.4 average. After our experience, the Yelp rating of 2.5 based on 44 reviews feels a lot more accurate."
