"the Biryani was amazing, I've never had lamb biryani before nor did I know the was a lamb biryani as well. I've only heard of and seen the chicken biryani. it all was a tad expensive, but worth the price! it was delicious, authentic, naturally made and Incredibly filling and satisfying"

"The portion is good for 2 asian who dont eat alot. The naan are good and butter chicken very tasty. Since came to sydney been missing my Butter Chicken
And thank you for making my belly satisfied. "
"Yes, I would get it again. The only thing I would be critical off, is the fact the last two times I've bought from here, some of the meat has been a little underdone, or, chewy. Other than that, I love getting Indian from here, and I've tried my fair share of my favourite Indian dish from other various Indian stores in Sydney. Nothing like Tandoori Hut. One of, if not, the best Indian store in Sydney."

"Delicious Butter Chicken with generous portions of thigh fillet and good ratio of sauce to protein - a common grievance. Fluffy Basmati rice, Tender, Tasty, Tandoori Lamb Cutlet. Loved it... quality at a great price and they even gave us a complimentary Mint Raita which was yummy with the cutlet, because I only ordered Cucumber and Yoghurt."

"The Desi Fusion Special Burger was amazing. the burger was delicious and so flavourful.
The Masala Fries had the perfect seasoning but it arrived a bit cold due to the weather conditions.
Overall I had a really good experience from the restaurant"
"Chips were quite nice.
HOWEVER
That was quite frankly the worst burger I have eaten.
The schnitzel literally had sliver of chicken the width of a piece of paper. There was what felt like skin inside the batter somehow. I couldn't bite into it because the batter was so over cooked and there was way too much.
The cheese was plastic cheap tasting.
The sauce was bland and there was way too much.
And the burger was poorly constructed so it fell apart after a few bites.
I would not order this again.
Im so disappointed the photos made it look amazing."

"Great late night burger and kebab (regular beef burger, chicken kebab). Both are tasty, light yet filling and good value.
Recommended!"
"Avoid ordering online from them. In person, they fill the container properly and rice is included. I called ahead to ask for half lamb rogan josh and half beef vindaloo and the guy explicitly said it comes with rice. Instead, they sent a container less than half-full of meat, the rice was a third low, and the vindaloo didn't even exist—there was zero spice and it was just a tiny scrap of rogan josh. When I called to complain, the guy aggressively shouted "that's how we do it" and tried to claim rice is $6 extra on delivery. When I said "that's not right, mate," he hung up. Absolute scam. Avoid!"

"Hot, greasy and garlicky! 100% recommend.
I have been going to Big Johns on and off for the last 10yrs. They dropped the ball a few years ago but I have to say they've really redeemed themselves tonight.
There was A TON of fresh garlic in the lasagna and Greek pizza. The feta was a decent grade on the pizza as well! Food is phenomenal! No complaints. They're really trying to be better and I say give them a go, you won't be disappointed.
We called to order pickup as we were so close. And to support a local business. The guy who picked up the phone, offered to deliver it to us and was happy to bypass the food delivery service. He even offered us a free garlic pizza, what a legend!"
"Worst pizza I have ever had from Big Johns
Have been a customer for many years (pre 2000) and have always ordered and enjoyed the Supreme. Tonight it was shocking, inedible and looked like half the ingredients were missing and were substituted for pepper and burnt cheese
I will order again hoping this was a once off situation although not happy now"

"I was feeling like something fairly light and holy moly this hit the spot! Masala dosa was so delicious, loved the filling, and the dosa beautifully light. Came with two sides (see pic), one a watery vegetable curry with fresh curry leaves, and the other a coconut chutney. Both REALLY good!
There are a few different aloo tikka's on the menu so I wasn't sure which to go for, but luckily I hit the jackpot with the "chaat". Potato cakes smothered with chickpea curry, yoghurt, chutney and coriander. (I'd already started eating it when I thought to take the pic).
I'll be reordering this meal for sure! 10/10 =D"

"Consistently excellent!! The curries are high quality and intensely flavourful. I've been eating here for many years and never had a bad meal, it's hard to pick a favourite dish, but the Prawn Balchao is a showstopper. And the dosai are crisp and tasty and I love the Masala Dosai filling and chutneys."
"I regret to say that Malabar's offerings left me sorely disappointed and utterly underwhelmed. The so-called "curries" and "paratha" they serve up are nothing short of a culinary travesty.
Firstly, let's address the elephant in the room: the price. For the minuscule portions they provide, the prices are nothing short of extortionate. It's as if they believe they can charge a premium simply for slapping the word "Malabar" on their menu. Newsflash: a fancy name does not equate to quality.
Now, onto the size. If you're expecting a hearty meal that will leave you feeling satisfied, look elsewhere. Malabar's portions are laughably small, barely enough to constitute a snack, let alone a meal. It's as if they're trying to pass off appetizers as main courses.
And don't even get me started on the taste—or lack thereof. The curries are bland, devoid of any depth or complexity of flavor. It's as if they've never heard of spices or seasoning. And the paratha? Dry, rubbery, and utterly forgettable. I've had more flavorful cardboard.
In conclusion, Malabar is a prime example of style over substance. Sure, their decor may be nice, but when it comes to the food, they fall flat on their face. Save your hard-earned money and your taste buds the agony—steer clear of this culinary disaster zone."

"The Jhalfrezi is is one tasty curry! If it wasn't for Bombay Bloomers I wouldn't know this dish existed. "Whenever we go into the restaurant the staff are always lovely, the food is absolutely delicious and the prices are more than reasonable. Even when we order online, the food shows up warm and delicious, we love the kebab with garlic naan and onion or potato, the tikka sauce goes really well with it too. I highly recommend this place, I order from them all the time "
"Had classic kebab with tikka masala sauce - beautiful soft naan bread - plenty of chicken with great amount of tikka charred taste, went for onion bhaji that was nice & crispy (have had the potato in there previously but found it too heavy) repeat customer that loves their kebabs. Instore price is $11.50, so big mark up through door dash but I had a great offer which is why I ordered here through them."
