Avgolemono is interesting - too thin to be a traditional presentation, although there is a fair amount of chicken in it. The 31. Gyro Sandwich Plate is solid with a decent amount of meat and the salad adds a nice touch. I was thoroughly unimpressed with the 6. Authentic Greek Salad. At $18.99 with gyro meat added, I would have expected some care in presenting it, but it was basically a bunch of chopped tomatoes and cucumbers with a few onions and a couple of olives dumped unmixed in a to-go container and drowned in mediocre dressing. Adding the gyro meat gives you a couple of slices and certainly isn't worth the added cost. You can find better and more reasonably-priced Greek food elsewhere. "

The box it arrives in is about the size of a small to medium typical pizza, but, again, this is a pizza PIE, not a flat , thin, wimpy pizza. It is touted as "DETROIT STYLE" pizza. I would describe the pizza as thick, sumptuous, and decadent. The pie has what I would say is a focaccia style bread crust with a crispy baked cheese all round the crust, and SCOOPS of the most wonderful tomato sauce on the top. If I can address the management of Black Cat, I would like to say, "Please Sir, I want some more!" We will definitely order this pizza again soon. OUR NEW FAVORITE ! "the german cake was not german cake, well at least absolutely nothing close to what I grew up knowing as german cake. Almost a 'malt color' chocolate cake with icing of coconut and brown sugar which defines german chocolate, the fav part being the coconut icing and an abundance of on top & sometimes in the middle. The cake delivered was dark chocolate almost fudge consistency & w dark glazed icing. Is this what defines traditional German cake and myself along w grocery stores etc.. a light chocolate cake w golden caramel coconut icing shud not be marketed as German chocolate cake? Secondly, the Goulash arrived leaking in the plastic bag quite a mess because the mashed potatoes were smashed when the bag somehow got a little smashed. however the meat in the Goulash was tender and good quality, no greasy fat either and the chunks cooked actually perfect 4 me no blood but not overcooked cooked perfect comparison to stew meat just this better quality. and sauce or gravy not sure what to call it but looked more like gravy as deep brown but not overly heavy and cud taste the wine. Had this box not arrived semi crushed wud have been less hassle cleaning. HOWEVER, again even tho good taste this is not what im familiar as Goulash. Goulash to me is macaroni noodles with meat and more of a tomato sauce?. my mistake as the restaurant showed no pic of the goulash entree. But who wud have guessed this? maybe it's the Greek version not german? "
