The portions are perfect, especially for one person (with leftovers..depending on your hunger level). You get pretty large portions depending on what you get.
Freshness wise - everything is always hot and fresh and delicious. I would, will, and will always order from Steak 'n Shake again. I highly recommend the cheeseburger (no cheese, only tomato, mayo & pickle), with a cup of chili...& some of the new cheesey tater tots. I do wish the cheese to tater ratio was better lol wa too many tots with a smaller cup of cheese, but that can be worked out so no biggie, plus the tots are good plain (as well as with ketchup, maybe melt some kraft American cheese on them from your fridge, or dip 'em in whatever else). You really can't go wrong with anything here:)"
