The drizzle of cheese whiz isn't even detectable when you eat it. It's a bit on the dry side though it looked like my Dasher got it pretty fast. I also feel it is small for the price considering there's another place almost right around the corner that has rib eye cheesesteaks for about the same price that have way more steak and cheese. the mozzarella sticks would have been good if they were fresher, but they were dry and pretty hard. the sauce was at least good and the breading isnt bad either, but just would be better fresher."

"I know we are living through a time of inflation, but the changes to price/portion size at this LaScala location are a little ridiculous. Tonight I ordered a Caprese salad, Rigatoni Vodka, Cheesesteak Pizza, and Lemoncello Limoncello Cake. The Caprese salad was fine. When I opened the Rigatoni Vodka you could actually see through to the bottom of the container. There was very little sauce, no pancetta, and the portion looked to be almost half the size it was in the past. When I tasted the pasta, the little sauce I had on it was very much lacking in flavor. Almost like they increased the amount of pasta water they added to the dish. The pizza was also smaller than it had previously been. It was maybe only slightly larger than what would be considered a personal pizza at other restaurants. For the prices being paid, this meal just didn't seem to be worth it. This used to be one of my go-to locations for ordering dinner in a pinch, but it appears that will need to change. "

"I'm an odd ball I guess. I directed to have the vinegar, actually, extra vinegar, to be put onto the inside of the bread vs putting it on top of the sandwich ingredients(It keeps the vinegar from running out and gives you a dash of vinegar in each bite), which many sub shops ignore. Not at Steak Out! Aside from the their subs, particularly 1/2# steak, the sandwiches are huge, I'm very happy how they they paid attention to their customers requests. They didn't cheap out on tomatoes( and they weren't sour) or other ingredients. I asked for less of the usual amount of onions(another special request) and I got a lesser amount. It all might seem a bit anal, but when you order food, you want it 'your way.' Steak Out gets it. We ordered cheesesteaks when a friend stopped by. This more fussier man than I, said this was one of the best steaks he's ever had. When I lived in the My Holly area, I used to order food from that location.
