"I was craving a lobster roll and decided to try this place since it was my first option nearby. When someone orders a lobster roll, they expect to enjoy lobster. unfortunately, there was only a small amount in my sandwich and a lot of salad. It felt more like a veggie sandwich with lobster added as an afterthought.
The lobster itself was tasteless, as if it had been cooked in plain water without salt or seasoning. Eating it felt no different than drinking a cup of water, there was simply no flavor.
For nearly $30, I expected much better quality and balance. The packaging was beautiful and the fries were good (that saved the night), but I’m still craving a real lobster roll.
If the price is going to stay at this level, the portion and flavor should match it. Right now, this felt like a $15 sandwich at best."

"I usually don’t leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt I had to.
I live only about 10 minutes away, so I was surprised that the food was already cold when I got home. I started eating the legume first, and it was completely cold while the rice was only mildly warm. I ended up having to reheat the entire meal.
To make matters worse, we specifically requested rice and beans but received black rice instead. I’m not sure what the point of offering different rice options is if the order isn’t prepared as requested.
We also ordered the stew turkey, but there wasn’t any stew sauce on the plate at all. The turkey ended up being dry because there was nothing to go with it.
Unfortunately, the food itself wasn’t much better. The rice was clumpy, and the legume lacked flavor.
What’s frustrating is that this wasn’t our first visit. The first time we ordered from Island Signature, the food was amazing, which is why we came back. I honestly didn’t expect the quality to drop this much on our second visit.
I really hope this was just an off day because I know they’re capable of much better."
