I appreciated the fact that they actually marinated the Ikura (salmon roe). Many sushi restaurants skip this step so you just end up eating salty salmon eggs. My only complaint is I think the marination proved to be a little too much on the sweet side. Other than that my meal was fantastic. I ordered the BAKED GREEN MUSSELS which are probably the best tasting ones in SCV. The red SURF CLAM SUSHI (1PC) which isn't for everyone but has always been one of my favorites. SEARED SALMON SUSHI (1PC) which was delicious. MONKFISH LIVER SUSHI (1PC) another one of those things that people don't normally order but it was also delicious and finally the SALMON ROE SUSHI (1PC). The meat was kind of tough like it's been sitting too long underneath the hot lamps too long. I would like to have my food freshly cooked, not to give me or anyone else whatever is left at the end of the day. I am not a fan of beans, but you can tell theirs are homemade and so flavorful! The only issue is that they never get the food orders correct and something has to go back or you have to eat something you didn't order. It won't stop me from eating there again, though!
