It was nearing closing time and I was concerned the food would be old and sat out all day, but it was immediately clear that all 3 of the items I ordered had been made quite recently. The chow mein was soft and not rubbery and the cabbage in it was still crisp from not being overcooked, the beef had the most moisture of any entree I've ever had from them and that broccoli was also still firm from being fresh, and the sesame chicken was actually still crisp on the outside from being recently fried and not sitting in the sauce for a long time getting mushy. "Every time I go to this Location of Zao, it sucks. I got the Steak Bahn Mi Wrap. If you get it DoorDashed it will be mostly rice. I get it with all veggies on it, it shows up with barely anything but rice and steak. They don't put almost any sauce on it so it's bland as can be. This location must tell their employees to put as little veggies and sauces on their food so it's bland and tasteless. If you go in store you have to ask over and over for them to put a normal amount of vegetables on it. They're taught to skimp and screw the customer. I used to go to this zao everyday for lunch, and the garbage I was just delivered will be the last time I go there. If you're the same price as other restaurants for half the size, half the flavor, I'll take the hint and go somewhere else."
