"A little confused about all the reviews talking about huge sandwiches. These are regular sized sandwiches, and if you buy their small, you get half a regular sized sandwich. The cakes were, of course, top tier. I personally got the Raspberry Gateau and Passion; I would have also received the marionberry cheesecake, but they were out of it.
I was originally scouting out if the cakes here were worth the price tag for a birthday, and I have to say: these cakes are worth a VERY special occasion. Yes, the pricetag fits the slice; presentation is half the point of a cake, and Hadyn definitely delivers. But it would be overpriced if the taste didn't match. On this point, I underestimated them: they taste BETTER than I thought they would. I don't care for overly sweet cakes with too much sugar, and these cakes are NOT; the ganache is especially complex, with tart raspberries to blend with the bitter dark chocolate of the cake, which is dense, but moist.
Overall, both fantastic cakes. Worth the price."
