"Butter Chicken was delicious, good portion. Plain Rice was fesh and decent size for price. Garlic Naan was great and fresh will order again!"
"Absolutely delicious! My first time trying this restaurant, and the value and quality are fantastic. I ordered the Alone Meal with butter chicken, saffron rice and garlic naan, all so flavourful. I also tried the Daal Makhani and I'm so glad I did, I could really taste the cumin and spices. The curries were a bit spicy which I love, but be aware if you can't handle spice.
The RAITHA was thinner than I expected but was still delicious, and helped balance the spice level of the dishes. Will definitely order again, my new go to place!"

"1. Butter Chicken was super creamy and flavourful, with big pieces of chicken and a very generous portion. 2. Naan was also great, very clearly fresh. Super impressed with this place and probably will be ordering again, especially as it's one of the more affordable options nearby."
"2. Lamb Korma super tough. 1. Butter Chicken had about 6 small chunks of chicken, but worst of all the 8. Cucumber Salad described as "Fresh cucumber, capsicums, and onions, typically seasoned with lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and pepper" had LITERALLY no capsicums, onions, lemon juice, vinegar, salt or pepper. Instead, about 8 slices of cucumber on a bed of mixed leaf with a tiny slice of lemon and orange. For $6.50. Jokers. Absolutely not coming back here."

"New favourite restaurant! Everything is super tasty and very well priced. We have ordered three times in the last few weeks. Each time something different and each time just as good. Still so many more things to try. Highly recommended!!"
"Very disappointing experience at Swagat Spices! The sambar vada was rock hard, as if it had been microwaved for too long, and was almost impossible to chew or cut. The sambar was tasteless, and the chicken in the Chicken 65 biryani was poorly cooked. Extremely poor food quality and a complete waste of money. Would not recommend!"

"First Time visiting this restaurant. Really good food with flavourful tastes. The dishes were unlike I've ever had, definitely the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne.
I've visited many restaurants and this one beats every single one by far. Due to there being new owners and new management there are new and improved dishes. Being open for only 4 weeks is really impressive. The restaurant is extremely clean and the ambience is nice and calm with music playing in the background. I will definetly be visiting this place again and again. I would 100% recommend you to visit this place as well.
A few unheard of but amazing dishes that I would recommend would be the Parda Biryani, 4 Seasons Viral Chicken, The Chef's Specials, Haleem and of course biryani. Alongside the amazing food the Saudi champagne ( non - alcoholic ) drink was refreshing. The portions are also decent sized, enough to fill you up. The food is fresh and tastes like India.
MUST VISIT."
"My partner is Hyderabadi so we were happy to finally discover proper Hyderabadi food after a decade of living in Australia! We highly recommend the Malai Paya and Chicken 65 Wrap but everything we had was good. My partner's face lit up when we had dinner at their restaurant and we ordered again from Doordash the following day. Both times were superb! We also met the chef who was lovely and also from Hyderabad. We are not from Melbourne but we will definitely keep coming back whenever we are in town."

"Only indian food i have liked that i tried. The Lamb Rogan Josh was flavourful with no bones. The portions were great, however i'm not a fan of the nuts in the mango lassi but it was better than other that i have had. I will definitely keep ordering from here especially if they keep giving bread and Basmati Rice"
"I have ordered from here on many occasions and have always ordered a larger size. The portion. This time was a lot smaller than normal with a lot more liquid and less meat. The meat itself was also not as tender as it usually is which was disappointing. The Roddys were both very inconsistent. One seemed to be nice and fresh and the other was quite chewy. Overall I'm disappointed this time."

"Love it. Go every week with my neighbour. Order online sometimes as well. Fantastic food and staff."
"This is the worst experience I have had from a restaurant. First the order came with my Prawn curry spilt all over the bag with the takeaway box not packaged properly. It had only 5 mini prawns in it although I paid extra for prawns. My roti was burnt with leftover black residue on it from god knows what! And the highlight of the show was my mango lassi coming in a takeaway container instead of a cup! What an absolute joke! It tasted nothing of mangos and just like sugar water! Absolute worst experience!! I had guests over and had to toss the whole thing away. "

"Thaali Was great! The naan was beautiful, I got two veggie curries and they were both delicious. The rice serving was smaller than usually but enough for one meal which is fine. "The food is so good I loved it a lot and I order Lamb Biryani and when I tell you that's food is so tasty Thankyou for the chefffffffffff"
"Really disappointed with this biryani. The masala was way overpowering — completely drowned out any actual flavor of the rice or meat, just an overwhelming punch of spice with no balance. The meat itself was the bigger issue though — it had an off, stale smell that put me off eating more than a few bites. Definitely didn't taste fresh.
On top of that, this didn't look anything like a proper dum biryani. No visible layering, no signature aroma or texture you'd expect from something actually cooked on dum — just looked like regular masala rice mixed with meat. For the price, I expected far better quality and authenticity. Won't be ordering again."

The SUBZ BIRYANI could do with more than one piece of Cauliflower and some below size other vegies. Flavours were great though and everything was fresh and delivered warm to hot.l temperature wise. When there is another 40% Deal, I will order again.
Thank you and Congratulations on your new business."

"The food is amazing as always! I tried the Coconut Base Jack fruit, Banana Blossom & Chilli Tuna Curry & Rice for the first time, and it was so very tasty! Okra is by far my most favourite sri lankan restaurant 😆"
"1. Authentic Sri Lankan Rice & Curry with Biryani was delicious and came with a whole peeled boiled egg along with Dahl which was okay and Lamb which was so tender and lean I think it was cooked in a pressure cooker but I didn't get the Egglant which was disappointing. I still give them a 5/5 and I will definitely try something different and order again soon. Generous serve and reasonably priced."

"The rice and curry combo is absolutely delicious and good value. I will definitely be ordering again"
"Unfortunately, they replaced the Vegetable Rotti with plain naan - not exactly a like-for-like in terms of nutrition. The Veggie Noodles were 96% noodle, only 2% veg, at most, and probably an equal 2% oil, minimum; again, hardly nutritious. And while the containers were mostly recyclable (barring the lid on the noodles), it arrived in a plastic bag which, in this day and age, is unacceptable, especially when easy alternatives are available."

"Lamb Saag is so delicious. This is the best meal ive had on DoorDash in a long time"
"As a Hungarian I would say your goulash is definitely not a Hungarian recipe, you lacked the main ingredient of parprika, was extremely oily, watery and no flavour at all. All it had was 4 pieces of meat, if you were making Guylas leves (soup) it was still lacking.
The Kransky and cheese schnitzel, portion size of the schnitzel was decent, but about 10 pieces of chips.
The nokedli dish was bland and no flavour at all and did not look appetising at all.
The mash potato was more chunks not mash what I would call parsley potatoes.
The cucumber salad was probably the only thing edible, even though it lacked in garlic.
Definitely will not be ordering from there again."

"I want to share my experience about my order. We really liked Noodle Burger and tikki Aloo Tikki Chaat (2 Pcs)
However, the Butter Naan and Dal Makhani did not meet my expectations. The food was disappointing, and the naan was not cooked properly. Instead of having the texture and taste of naan, it was more like a paratha. Overall, the quality was not good.
I have also attached the pics of butter naan and dal makhani.
