If I didn't have the Slate Edge + Dashpass, it would've been $56.00(ish) pre-tip. Compared to area Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, and Kentucky Fried Chicken... Bojangles blows them all our of the water, though. The quality & consistency *does* reflect in the price, but it's still "fast food" and shouldn't cost *more* than eating at a "mid", but fresh restaurant. "I've never had Bojangles am not at all a fast food person. I tried Popeyes twice in our area and both times it was disgusting. I used to like KFC (mostly for the sides) but haven't been to one in years, so I figured it would be fun to order a family pack with just white meat. I got the tenders and the classic fried chicken. It was AMAZING. My teen HATES fried chicken (which is why I got the tenders), but he actually ate some and came back for more. They were very thin, runny, and flavorless. I tried the white gravy (for the first time in my life) and won't be doing that again. The potatoes should be thick & fluffy. We threw ours away. If there was a brown gravy option, I might try them again in case I just got unlucky, but the gravy was flavorless & runny, too. I had to get some beverages because we were low and the prices are outrageous on their drinks.
