"The coffee tote and everything that comes with it is great. The employees; however, were shockingly unkind. I received a notification through DoorDash that my order was ready. I arrive 10 minutes after that notification only to be told my order hasn't been started. The young woman with brown hair did apologize, but said she can make it or give me a refund. This coffee was for a meeting. I couldn't just cancel and get a refund. I expressed how disappointing it was to find out that my order wasn't even started, and a young man with dark hair and a baseball cap said they didn't have control over DoorDash. I questioned that and even re-mentioned that I received a notification that my order was ready. He then asked another employee, a young Asian woman, and nothing else was said. So I waited about 6-7 minutes - no big deal normally but I was then late for my meeting. The young Asian woman then called out my name when my order was ready, I grabbed my order and told her thank you, she ignored me and walked away to busy herself with another task. Really, really unpleasant experience. But at least the coffee was fresh, hot and definitely enough for 8 people. I would order again, but not from this location with this kind of staff."

My wife had the Bacon Eggs Benedict, and I went with the Granite Bay Crepes, both with the delicious House Potatoes. I made Ramos Fizzes and fresh squeezed OJ to accompany the meal, and we feasted. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and delicious. One aspect of ordering from Mario's on Doordash that I feel doesn't get mentioned nearly enough is how expert they are at packaging the orders for delivery. All the containers are stacked and tightly bagged so they don't bounce around on the way to your home. They also put the sauces in separate containers so your food doesn't get soggy. They are very consistent in this regard, and we really appreciate it. A lot of very good restaurants don't do a good job in this area, and it causes us to be reluctant to order from them a second time. we highly recommend them to everyone!"

"the ice cream was decent. thankfully it was close to where I live because it would have melted if it was further away. it was already starting to melt in the container it came in. I ordered the 4 Scoop Sampler and the Extra Waffle Cone. The 4 Scoop Sampler would have been good if the container it came in had four little compartments to separate the flavors. The Sampler was a decent size for my husband and I. I will say that some of the flavors that had chunks of something (reeses peanut butter cup chunks for example) didn't have enough of the chunks mixed into the ice cream. I noticed that with the butter pecan barely had any pecans in it, and the pistachio had only 1 or 2 pistachios in it. the flavors were very light. the reeses peanut butter chunk ice cream and the butter pecan tasted the exact same because there wasn't enough pecans or the reeses peanut chunks to differentiate the two. I will have to try this again.. and maybe different flavors next time."

"I ordered the 3 Meats + 2 Sides plate. 2 ordersof ribs,1 brisket with potato salad and slaw. The ribs were incredible, some of the best St. Louisstyle I've had around Sacramento. The leEl of smoking and moisture was spot on. The brisket, well what a disappointment after those ribs. The brisket was way over smokedand dried out. The main taste was smoke and saw dust like dryness. So sad... The bbq sauce that comes on the side was house made, very delicious, sweet, savory and smoky. Great Job! Slaw- well can't review it. They gave me 2 potato salads instead. Bummer!! Potato salad- one word says it all, MAYO. Holy MAYO Batman!! The small over cooked pieces of potato were floating in a sea of mayo. It did have a splash of paprika, not much help. In final, the portion size was very generous, 3 ribs per order, (very meaty) 4 cuts of brisket, (won't do that again), 1 1/2 cups of potato salad each. I will Definately order again, but all ribs and hopefully get different sides."
