The crab didn't taste fresh at all, the little bit of sauce on top also had a funny flavor to me, and I got only 2 small crab cakes that I couldn't bring myself to finish for $22 (and yes, that's prior to any fees, tax, or the driver tip). The bread and dipping sauce that came with it was delightful though, that's why I didn't rate it 1 star. And I'll throw the restaurant a bone here, the first time I gave them a try about a year or two ago, the gnocchi was delicious. I know they're capable of better quality than this. "This is going to be a very rare 5-star review for me. I order DoorDash once a week and have a few restaurants in my rotation . Tonight I came across Verona and thought I would give it a try. It was so VERY impressed. Minestrone soup was awesome and tasted authentic and brought back great memories of homemade Minestrone. Sausage & Peppers was super flavorful with many herbs and delicious sautéed vegetables. Pollo Saltimbocca was tender and juicy, The Perch Picatta was mild, light and nicely prepared. Chopped Salad was generous in portion. Overall, this was a pleasant surprise and truly a hidden gem. Will definitely include at the top of my DoorDash rotation and I look forward to trying many more dishes. Great job Verona!!!!"

The corned beef was hard and overcooked making it difficult to chew, like beef jerky. There was also very little if any sauerkraut inside. Huge disappointment at a high cost. Also missing butter and jam for English muffins. There was also an exorbitant amount of oil in the bottom of the carryout box, soaked a paper towel and still some floating in the bottom of the container. Photo shows bottom half of omelet. The top was too greasy to eat. "
