"Was in the area making deliveries and stayed at a hotel near by. This place is very good with the food and customer service. I order the burger with mushrooms and also onion rings. They use only fresh local beef from a farm just a couple miles from the restaurant. The burger comes with either chips or coleslaw. I always pay a small upgrade fee to have a large side of fries. I love dipping them in the soft egg yolk that slowly rolls off of the Sloan Burger when you squeeze it to take a bite . My friend skipped the egg and ordered a bacon cheeseburger, but she ordered hers rare and said it was perfectly cooked. Timber's burgers are the best!"

Catfish, Spot, or Flounder - one of my 2 filets was very good so I bit into the 2nd one expecting it to be good as well. unfortunately, it had a really bad, strong fishy taste that made me gag. I had to spit it out and toss that whole piece. so for 1 edible catfish filet and fries, I paid around $18 and gagged on my food. this smell was so strong that whoever prepped it could have easily smelled it, especially before it was breaded and fried. Tartar Sauce was tasty! perfectly seasoned for me. not too strong but with more flavor than plain mayo and sweet pickle relish. there were 2 hush puppies included. taste was okay but they were really soggy from travel in the styrofoam container. same for the fries. some places snip the corners off containers like that and it helps with the steam and condensation but they dont ventilate the containers here. I won't try this again. you know the old saying...gag me once, shame on you...😆"
