I'm visually impaired and sometimes ride my electric scooter up there, but the construction has kept me from crossing Mich Ave for months so I'm happy I've had such great luck getting hot food prepared my way from DD. I have to comment that I'm in my 50's and when I was little, BK was the 1st and only place i could get onion rings. And today, biting into them brings me right back to being 4. The flame grilled taste of BK has been my favorite then and still is now. And personally, I Love BK fries. All the people complaining about them probably work for Mickey's. The only issue I had today was they were out of the Frozen Pink Lemonade but I got another Frozen Coke® instead. No problem."

The broth is wonderful as usual, but I don't understand why we get spinach instead of bok choi in our soup now? It feels cheap and unauthentic, even if it's healthier. I also believe the 2 Protein Poke Bowl/Sushi Burrito protein scoops have gotten smaller as well, melon-ball sized. If your hungry your poke bowl is gonna cost like $20 bucks for three scoops of protein, more if you add more scoops. I love this place for making sushi/poke more fun and accessible though. Stingy with giving you utensils for take out. You might not get any even when you ask, just like what happened with my order. Long time customer here. "The Black Sea Roll was exceptional, one of the best I've had from Kanbu. It was very filling and I was able to save half the portion for later. The Philadelphia Roll was a bit small. The Miso Soup wasn't great but not terrible either. I liked eating the Edamame with the Eel Sauce, over all great and would order again for a special occasion dinner."

"To be honest, since I have moved to Ann Arbor I haven't found ANY sushi place that actually had decent sushi. Every other place the sushi and fish tastes old or "fishy" when it really shouldn't. I can say for certain that this place has the best sushi I have found in Ann Arbor (surprising right?!). Their specialty roles are not over-saucy and don't pile on rice to make it look bigger. I personally love the Fireball Roll but that is because I like roe. Furthermore their packaging is amazing. They recently changed it but I think it's for the best. Each roll is packaged with care and isn't just thrown all together. I also loved the Yellowtail Roll, as the fish wasn't slimy or smelly but instead flavorful and melted in your mouth like what good tuna should. If you want any good sushi or just are looking for something close by, Kanbu is the place."
