I ordered a Chicken and Beef Burrito that was described as; "Flavorful burrito filled with a juicy combination of seasoned chicken and beef, wrapped in a warm tortilla. Serving with Yellow Rice, Pino Beans, Tomatoes, Red Onions." I add sour cream for an additional $1.99. The burrito was stuffed with French fried potatoes. There was no chicken and very little beef. The burrito was basically soggy french fries wrapped in a flour tortilla. The sour cream I paid extra for was missing from the burrito.
The picture of the jalapeño poppers gave me the impression that they'd be a cut above what one would normally expect. For $13.99 they were the lowest grade you could possibly find. Jack in the Box has better poppers for $6.79
The Frozen Tiramisu was advertised as 'buy one get one free.' I bought one but did not get one for free. I have to say it was good. However, my roommate wanted to try it as well and I was going to give him the free one. I make tiramisu often, using the New York Times classic tiramisu recipe and he wanted to compare mine with the frozen one offered here.
I really find it hard to believe that a place like this could be in business. A french fry burrito for $15.95, the worst poppers I've ever had for $13.99 and an ok tiramisù that was falsely advertised. Everything that I ordered was completely misrepresented on the menu, basically fraud. "

"It has been some time since I bought food from Morty's in some time. I had been craving the Reuben Rolls. I was disappointed. Seems the wrap used is different and the pastrami is far less in volume than I recall. Maybe that's because they don't seem to be as neat and tightly wrapped as they use to be.
The mushroom patty melt was meh! I love patty melts and I can't remember having one where both pieces of bread have the cheese melted on the and the meat and onions get smothered by the melted cheese. Bread was tough.
Finally, the Onion Rings are presented as a great value, but seemed like a small portion in alignment with the serving size. However the taste and quality of the onion rings are up there among some of my favorites.
Would I order again - maybe, but make some different choices.
I also suggest not putting baby greens in a delivery box with warm items. The greens wilt and then sticks to the food. Not exactly appetizing."

My daughter had the avocado & pickled onions (which was covered in beautifully fresh dill springs) and our friend had the bodega which is always a favorite for this NYC transplant. The bagels were delicious and chewy which means they were properly boiled as that is the key to that great texture (I have made bagels during an early itteration of my life). I chose seasame so it would not interfere with the fresh flavors and it was awonderful choice.
