"This was my first time ordering from here and it was pretty good! I liked how thin the crust was. The only issue I had was with the ricotta. Each ingredient costs extra to add onto a pizza, which is fine, but when I first opened the box, I thought there wasnt even any ricotta on it, which is to say there was hardly any on it. If youre going to charge extra for something, at least make it worth it. Dont be cheap."

For $33.00 I do not recommend Chicago Bros at least for ordering for pick up. Disappointed for the size I was given. Will not return again and will return to my original pizza spot. "

"The 13. Sausage & Mushroom (Large) is really delicious. Having the cheese over the ingredients instead of under keeps them from drying out. The sausage is moist and the mushrooms aren't losing a ton of volume. The cheese is the best cheese I've had on pizza. The sauce isnt too tangy and overdone on basil. All the ingredients are perfect together, without one overpowering the other ingredients. Its great to see a restaurant not overdoing spices like too many of them do. This is our favorite pizza combo so far. The 5. Canadian Style Bacon (Medium) - Again great pizza. Not overdone, it was fantastic not having burnt edges on the Canadian bacon. Other restaurants usually dry it out and overcook. I usually hesitate to order it because of that. It was a nice surprise to have it cooked properly. I would love to see a sweeter pineapple on this pizza (my personal preference) but it was chock full of pineapple and not skimped on. The Manicotti smelled and tasted amazing. I asked for the meat sauce which was rich and flavorful, again not overpowered by its spices or too much basil. The ricotta and pasta was perfect without being rubbery, overcooked or dry. This is true comfort food and finding a great Manicotti is not easy. Thank you Filippis for going above the rest to make your food a great experience and worth coming back for more!."

"I'm a native here in San Diego, I've been eating at Nicolosi's since the late 70's. Thru location moves the quality of the food has remained the same, top notch. The pizza I chose was sausage and anchovies (real Italian restaurants carry anchovies) and it is fabulous the perfect crust, the right amount of cheese and sauce. One of San Diego's best pizzas. The gnocchi was great in it's butter reduction, just amazing. The Chicken Penne Pesto was perfection. I highly recommend Nicolosi's. I'm leaving California soon and will be sure to dine here a few more times before that. Thank you."

"The Manicotti was good but they packaged it together in 1 box with the sauteed veggies which completely messed up the flavor. The other problem was that there was no sauce on the Manicotti. Most restaurants pour a little sauce over the top. I used to go to Nicolosi's all the time when I was younger and it was much better. It was also a very small portion for the price."
