"The Chilaquiles were poorly packaged. Liquid refried beans were slotted all over the Chilaquiles, making them terribly soggy. Then semi-cooked, bland, non-seasoned potato chunks were heaped on the mound of soggy tortilla strips and runny beans. This was really disappointing, because usually Moreno's is great at food prep, packaging and taste. Today, not so much. The Chilaquiles definitely were NOT worth their cost today / not even close. Even if the meal had been packaged carefully and the co-mingling of slop happened in transit, it doesn't account for the lack of seasoning. (And, even if that's what happened - that the foods commingled in transit and that led to everything being a soggy mess, the restaurant should package the items more carefully up front so that this can't happen. For example, put the beans in a separate container that is sealed - not in a styrofoam flip top / flip lid container where they can (and do) ooze out inside the plastic bag.
I know their food isn't usually this bad. I think we ordered Chilaquiles a different time in the past month and, if memory is correct, they were crispy and good."
