"I rarely post complaints, by luck and being careful I either get what I want, or something good but not for me. However, this is a case where it's great food, but the orders are not taken carefully, and they seem to be careless in preparation. I ordered the Batada Wada, and they arrived under cooked, but when I air-fried them, they were excellent; and I got a coconut chutney I paid for, but at the expense of the green and tamarind chutneys they said would come. Today, my main dish (Paneer Puff) is *excellent*, but my Iced Chai arrived nice and warm, and there was no straw for my (delicious) Sweet Lime Juice, which made it awkward to open and drink in my current set-up. I seriously enjoy the food, but I hope things can be more under control in their kitchen, so when the food comes, it can be appreciated for the clear quality and love that goes into the menu."

"I’m so glad I found Dakshina’s, the new restaurant in Capitol Hill! Since I work on Broadway, it’s the perfect spot for me to grab lunch, and I’ve already started working my way through the menu. The flavors are authentic, comforting, and honestly better than some of the well-known restaurants in Seattle.

"If you only order pad thai and pad see ew at Thai restaurants, this review doesnt apply to you. In fact, do get those two dishes here at SiSiKay because they're consistently pretty bomb here.
Prik King and the Som Tum was a miss..their other dishes are usually a hit but the prik king had small portions of tofu (ratio of protein to green beans was 10:90). The base of the sauce that is sautéed was more watery than creamy - I wish there was more of the grounded up kaffir limes and herbs to counter the sweet taste.
For the papaya salad, it was more sweet than salty and savory which is what I usually expect for a basic som tum. Also seemed like the ingredients were just thrown together with the sauce (not beaten with mortar and pestle).
I also ordered 4 stars spiciness for both thinking this place would live up to actual Thai spicy level, but it was actually a 1 star. Barely tasted any heat. Not sure if I will order these two dishes again and opt them out for other entrees and ask for 5+ spicy if it's possible."

"Well I'd hate to even call this thing a Goat Biryani. It was just plain rice with yellow color (hard to tell if it was saffron water or just Turmeric). The onions in a Biryani are supposed to be crispy, but the onions in this Biryani were soggy instead. To my disappointment, this thing also had 2 Capsicum pieces. Who adds Capsicum to a Goat Biryani ??
I would highly recommend avoiding this Biryani! I would never order again.

"Chilli's is by far the worst Indian restaurant I have encountered thus far in Seattle. The parathas are ALL frozen store parathas that are microwaved prior to serving. The curry's all have the EXACT same base. So, regardless of whether you order matar paneer, butter paneer, kofta curry, etc, you will get the exact same taste and there is no variety in different curry dishes. All the curry and rice dishes taste like the "Indian food" served at airports. Not worth the price. If you want to eat the food they serve at chilli's, just go to an Indian store and buy some frozen, ready-to-microwave foods because that is LITERALLY what they serve at chilli's. On average, the EXACT same frozen Indian meal that I buy for around $5.99 at Indian grocery stores is served for $20 here. Chilli's is a huge scam in U-district and would give a 0/5 if I could. Please do not get scammed like I did, there are far better places in Seattle if you want authentic, freshly made Indian food."
