"Their burritos are always hefty with the ingredients they say on the menu that’ll be in there. Their Chips and Nachos are good too. Chips are crispy but not burnt, the nachos have the usual peppers but it’s not as heavily spicy as others I’ve tried, it’s simply just your regular salsa con queso. Banda Burritos is one of my go-to take-out places on DoorDash, I order from them at least once a month 😂 I've so far tried the El Guero, El Desvelado, El Mananero, El Chickgon Burritos and they're all really good and I intend on trying the others. For the amount of money they charge you and how much food you get with the combos, it’s definitely worth at least a try. "Ive gotten food from here a couple times and theyre consistenly good. Ive rotated through the different tacos to try a few all of them good. The Nashville Hot Taco was the right amount of spicy and the chicken and slaw went well together. It tasted good with the green salsa and lime on the side. The Al Pastor Taco had a good ratio of pork to pineapple. I personally get annoyed when there's not enough pineapple but there was enough to balance the weight/grease of the pork. The pineapple is also grilled which I really like. The details of each dish I appreciate. Finally the Cheesy Beef Empanada simply slapped. If anything it would be cool to have two for a lower price because three of those is filing. The cheese beef ratio is good and its actually gooey on the inside and crunchy outside. Yum indeed. "

"I had heard about this place being good, so decided to try some out today. Steak Quesadilla was absolutely FABULOUS. It came at a good time, but even so the quesadillas were cold, maybe the only disappointing thing about this place. Steak was tender and super flavorful and appropriate juiciness. Tortillas had good texture, and cheese was gooey and tasted amazing. Honestly, I thought it was 19 or so for just the quesadilla/sauce, but it also came with chips (might I add a pretty good amount) and salsa. There was also a side container with sour cream, guac, jalapeno slice, and diced tomatoes. Very pleasantly surprised to open the bad and keep finding more goodies 😁 Good price to food ratio+tasting amazing is great. Highly recommend."

"This review is only for the Fair Oaks location. I've been going to Uncle Julio's for 20+ years at nearly all of the locations in the DMV area. The food is consistently subpar relative to other locations and is easily the worst by far. The soft tacos always come soaked, the portions for sides are smaller than what the other stores offer, and the meat is often overcooked. I've ordered from this location 5+ times across the last year hoping things would change. Unfortunately, it's only gotten worse each time. Really disappointing especially considering it's my favorite TexMex chain. Don't bother with this location. Hope they make changes in the kitchen. "

"I was really disappointed with my order from this restaurant. I paid a premium price for tacos expecting a decent portion of Carne Asada, but what I got was three tiny pieces of meat in each taco. The rest was just filled with nopales (cactus), onions, and cheese. If I wanted a vegetarian or cheese taco, I would have ordered that instead. As you can see in the picture, all the veggies are pushed to one side, and the actual protein portion is minimal. For the price they charge, it feels like they’re cutting corners and cheating customers on the meat. I will not be ordering from this place again. "Carne Asada was great. I like the portion size and the option to remove and add items from the dish. The only thing that would of made it better is the packaging. The steak, lettuce, pico, beans, and rice were crammed in a aluminum bowl and all mixed together. Separating cold and hot items would also be recommended but overall for the value, I would order from here again."
