"This is one of the best meals I've had in a LONG time. Ohhhh yeah, we've got a winner here. Hubs got the seafood marechiaro and it came with the pasta in a separate container. The marechiaro itself is like a cioppino...and is delicious. He's eating it like that and saving the pasta for separately. I had some and the sauce is absolutely delicious. The lobster ravioli is excellent-LOT of lobster and again with a really good sauce that highlights the ravioli, doesn't drown it out. The baked clams are garlicky but not overwhelming so and the rustic bread has a delicious crust and is holding up really well to dipping in the sauces. We could make a meal of the bread and sauces alone. There is a LOT of food for reasonable prices. Hubs is the "I'm hungry and in the mood for X type of food" type of person, not at all a foodie and he hasn't stopped raving about it. "The good- portion size was huge. very good portion size for the money. especially The meat and rice. the bad- plantain and chicharron was undercooked. plantain was hard and not carmelized at all. the chicharron was very rubbery and no crunch at all. A little salt could go a long way. Zero salt. nothing on the meat, rice, chicharron, nothing. the arepa was very soggy, probably also undercooked. I asked for extra aji and got none. they gave the smallest container I've ever seen with some pretty good red sauce but I mean it was tiny and it was used for the steak. I could only eat 1/4 of the rice and plantain cause it was too bland. the beans didn't help anything either. again Zero salt, onion, nothing. food could be great, just use some salt and give some sauce and cook a couple minutes longer."

I'd say the basic, frozen stuff is way better, and there was hardly any ground meat. This place is VERY cheap with their protein! Lastly, my Red Velvet Cake was completely stale, disgusting. It had HARD sections on the sides (why is a cake HARD???), meaning it was made days ago and left to air dry."

Iced Coffee: 4.5/5, sweet but not super sweet, i got hazelnut flavor and there's cinnamon in it which was a pleasant surprise. good coffee flavor too. My order took an hour total to get to me and I think it's because they make the mangu to order, so keep that in mind. Even so my food came hot and my drink was still cold! Would reccommend when you're craving Dominican breakfast."
