"The food was overpriced and not that good. Wack. The stars of the show were the cebollitas and Nopal, and all they were was grilled. The asada taco did come in a full tortilla size portion, but still seemed too expensive. There was no cebolla, cilantro or lime (toppings box is separate charge). Too many plastic containers. Bland salsa. Not enough tamal filling, but they were soft and fluffy, I'll give them that. My street corn was mid. I don't think I would order again."

Its own flavor wheelhouse you cant compare. The green mango gave it a caribben feel. The rice and beans were okay, but only because I am not a huge cardamom lover. Yet its spices feel warm in the belly. Fufu ive been waiting years to try. Ive seen it in so many videos where a giant bowl of stew is dumped on the table and the fufu looks like it picking up this stringy stew so good. Ans Because ive never had it I have nothing to compare it too. For me it wasn't super tacky and sticky like the videos show. Where you swallow it in one bite. It felt more like mash potatoes that crumbled apart and it had no flavor. Im not sure if that's normal so maybe im not a good judge. Id like to try fufu again somewhere just to compare. "I took a bite from each section of the oxtail meal, and honestly, that was all I needed. Every bite was packed with flavor. It genuinely made me feel like I was back in Florida, which says a lot. I’m assuming this is more of a Haitian-style take on Caribbean food, but either way, it’s still really good. After searching for truly flavorful Caribbean food in Utah, this is the first place that really delivered. Taste of the Caribbean is hands down the best Caribbean food I’ve had so far in Salt Lake City. Their green enchiladas as so yum and that’s what initially got me hooked. I then became obsessed with their shrimp and carne asada tacos. The shrimp tacos are literally the best I’ve ever had, and the carne asada tacos are delicious and LOADED with steak. My latest obsession is probably the best thing on their menu. This dish has officially secured a spot on my “death row meal.” THE CARNE ASADA NACHOS. They are so yummy. They clearly make their own tortilla chips here and they are delish and the nachos are loaded with cheese, nacho cheese sauce, guacamole, pico, so much carne asada, crema drizzled over, and beans. I could eat them every day and never get sick of them. Literally would pay $40 for those damn nachos. "
