The good: The tortillas are much bigger than I'm used to seeing for tacos, the tacos had plenty of meat and they had lots of cilantro and onion on top. The bad: The chicken in the chimichanga and taco had no flavor. Like, zero seasoning. And it was really dry. The barbacoa was tasty, but dry, and my campechano taco was tasty but also had a hard bone the size of a cherry in it, which I luckily caught before breaking a tooth. I also found other small bones in my chicken taco and the entire joint of a chicken thigh in my tamale, which was rojo and not verde like I ordered. I've never had a tamale with bone-in meat before, so I found this odd. It also lacked favor and the tamale dough was plasticky and not tasty at all. I tossed most of it. I will continue looking for great Mexican food in the area. Sadly, this ain't it. "

"Things that are amazing about it were the giant noodles, longer than most places, and the variety of items inside as well. Things that are not so great are the very watery sauce that doesn't stick to the items inside and makes them very slippery and that the flavor was definitely NOT mala, unfortunately. Mala is my favorite thing in the entire world so the disappointment was very real there. The plastic wrap on top was extremely difficult to remove and didn't have scissors handy so ended up having to take plastic out of my dish the entire time. It's also not too great for the environment to have this kind of container. Also, I was craving cheese, but for an extra $6 that seemed a bit too much- since it's about $30 and it was $8-10 for delivery, that would have made it nearly $50 for my meal which is not a fair price. Better off putting your own cheese and mala flavoring which I had to do. I would like to order it again but maybe the rose cream to make it a little less pricey. I was thinking am I just being too picky about it being watery? Turns out I wasn't as all the reviews indicate that the broth is too watery. I think it's important for restaurants to listen to their reviews. I like to be supportive but I'm just giving an honest review in hopes that these things can be improved. Thank you. "
