The Saigon Rice Noodles were seasoned according to our spice preference and tasted delicious! Everyone LOVED the Steamed Dumplings ! "definitely an off night to say the least. not sure if ownership changed here but we used to order from here regularly and were always blown away by the quality of the food and freshness of the meat and veggies. particularly the 95 Com Bo Lúc Lắc / Shaken Beef with Rice. i was happy to pay more for the higher quality beef and veggies but tonight's meal was sad. the beef was gamey - tasted more like lamb than beef and was a smaller portion (which wouldn't have bothered me if the quality was there). however, the rest of the dish was also lacking - I got a fraction of a fresh pepper (maybe 1/8) cut into several tiny pieces that was overcooked and soggy. the "salad" was one tomato slice and one piece of lettuce - both dry and then wilted from being boxed with the beef instead of separate. the 83 Pad Thai didn't taste fresh either. more like reheated meat and veggies. I really liked having an authentic Vietnamese restaurant with amazing food nearby and hope that I see other positive reviews that bring us back because we ended up throwing both meals away tonight."
