"The oxtail was good not spicy at all. Ordered a large portion could not finish it lol, true to size. Everything was hot and packaged really well so it was fresh, hot and steamy by the time it got to me.
Only things I did not like was the rice, it was too dry but maybe it's the culture idk. Honest opinion I give it a 7/10. Would I order again? Yessssssss for sure."

"everything was delicious! the oxtail in the Shrimp & Oxtail Pasta (Large) was seasoned to perfection. the Rasta Pasta and the jerked Half Chicken was a little spicy (not overly spicy) like just the right amount of spice but overall every dish was well made and packed tightly so nothing spilled over. even my caribbean mother said the food was ten out of ten! i would've added more pictures but we devoured the food so fast i forgot to do so"
"I usually get curry goat roti (always on point from here) First time I got oxtail ordered a large Oxtail and received a container full of rice and 4 of the smallest pieces of oxtail ive ever seen in my life. Complete scam for the amount of money I have to pay to get a container of rice."

"Callaloo and Saltfish delicious as usual. provision perfect."
"in town for an overnight flight I scanned all the local Jamaican spots for some oxtails. We got the large order with white rice, a side of Fried Plantains (6 Pieces) and 2 Beef Patty. now, I've never had to order rice and peas separately and since my order was already over $60 I decided to just get the white rice. The oxtails were very tender and had a good flavor. The large order was enough for 1 person (we got it for 2) and not enough gravy to give all that white rice some flavor.
The Beef Patty were great as expected. Nice and spicy, flaky crust and hot!
The Fried Plantains (6 Pieces) were good, not as enjoyable as the 2 pieces that came with the oxtails but they were cooked perfectly and 6 substantial pieces.
Vegetable sides were just okay.
Overall, a good, albeit expensive, meal."

"I never thought I'd be one of the people to actually write a review but I'm telling you right now:
This spot is worth it. The macaroni and cheese is divine. I felt like I was at a barbecue eating! And the stew brown chicken was flavorful, and with that extra gravy, it hit the spot and then some! Now, let me get started on a pink lemonade with ginger they know how to hook that up! The whole meal was simply divine! If you want some Caribbean food and you're feeling hesitant like I was, check them out!!"

"This is my new favorite spot. The jerk chicken and jerk pork are so well seasoned with just the right amount of spicy. When you add the jerk sauce and scotch bonnet sauce, you hit the spot at another level. And the portions are awesome, so I can share if I'm in the mood."
"The Jerk Chicken flavor is subtle and not hot at all, by itself is a huge portion. It's seasoned well like good chicken, but it tastes like regular barbecue. The mac tastes great. The rice and peas are the best I've had in NY so far, the flavor is very authentic."

"always well cooked with love, I can taste it. always fresh original flavors , and very healthy portions number one in my book."
"The food was spot on absolutely delicious
But if ordering for delivery I don't suggest adding any drinks from their menu. I ordered a Fountain Drinks 16 oz 7 up and Fountain Drinks 22 oz 2 Hawaiian punches. Instead of it in a can or bottle it was delivered in a plastic small Tupperware the same style container they use to package the curry goat or rice. definitely not 16oz or 22oz and not sealed properly. By the time the driver delivered it. The bag it was in was soaked. Also I did not receive my Ting beverage or pineapple ginger and could not find anywhere to make a complaint about missing items.
once again the food is top notch. Just need to do better with the drinks"

The cassava and thickness of the soup was so full of flavor. I don't usually like bones but the depth of it from the chicken was delicious. It reminded me of childhood. I would order it again and I know my mom would enjoy it, too. I got a large and finished it all by myself so next time."
"Food was very delicious and fresh! I ordered the ribs and they were incredibly tender and full of flavor. I also ordered chicken fried rice and it was just as tasty and fresh . Definitely a great spot if you're craving well-prepared, flavorful food the portions can feed 2"

Our jerk chicken is marinated and grilled, giving it a smoky and spicy flavor. It is served with a side of rice and peas, which is a combination of rice, kidney beans, and coconut milk. The rice and peas provide a creamy and slightly sweet contrast to the spicy chicken. It's so good.

The jerk chicken a1 the stew cow foot fire. I'm addicted to this places. Oh and the food amount you have enough for today and tomorrow. "
"So I been buying food from G's HomestyleCooking for years. The OxTail is always great, but this is the first time I had the Sunday & Wednesday Chicken Soup only. Let me tell you it is amazing. Smooth, thick, tasty, warm & delicious. Definitely a new favorite. All the meals have fresh, homemade ingredients and good portion size. My go to spot when I want my family to eat well when I'm not doing the cooking."

"So WOW!!!!!!! I'm Really not much of a review person but I definitelii have to give this restaurant its PROPS hands down. I ordered the House Style Chicken Platter it was just everything eating this made me feel like I didn't even order out. You can taste the love and effort put into this dish like if it was made at home. The sauces where OUT OF THIS WORLD the way they all blended together so perfectly and still beating able to taste each sauce individually is just Chefs Kisssss. Now let's get into these Jerk Chicken Quesadilla..... OH MY WORDDD the jerk chicken Beautifully seasoned to the right amount of spice and so tender and sauced but not overly sauce to the point where there's juice dripping everywhere Noo, it was just the perfect amount for your mouth to catch every juicy bite. I went to Bed Overly Satisfied WILL DEF BE MAKING THIS RESTAURANT MY NUMBER ONE and trying every last item of food on there menu. "

"The food is 10/10! I specifically loveee the wings especially when I request that they are fried hard. The yams are good too. Lastly I don't eat potato salad from everyone but the color of it gravitated me to it because it's not usual that a restaurant gets the yellow in color (lol) & it taste great! I am never disappointed. Thank you! "
"Wings Dinner - The food is pretty ok, but this is the 2nd time the potato salad was salty. And now, instead of 5 wings, you get 4 and I dont know if they realize thats like giving 2 wings without the tip. Being that it's no whole wings, it's these wing pieces, you would think they would give you more.."

"I enjoy there food. I wish they gave more than 1 little piece of plaintain and 2 bites of cabbage. The meal needs to be more well rounded. I dont only want to fill up on rice. The containers are to small and they squoosh the food in it and its aluminum which can not be microwaved. Bummer
The currygoat jerk chicken and oxtails are delicious."
"Food is delicious but not the value. I paid for large oxtails and received 5 pieces with a lot of rice. I can imagine the regular size- would it just have 3 pieces?
Paid $11 for jerk chicken. There are 3 small pieces of it. The lunch special is $5 and I paid twice more for the same amount.
But again - the food is absolutely amazing! And I know because I love Caribbean food and order it a lot. The chef is the bomb! "

"I ordered the legume with sosis, rice and beans, and pikliz, and it was absolutely delicious! The legume was flavorful and well-seasoned, the sosis was cooked perfectly, and the rice and beans complemented everything so well. The pikliz added the perfect kick and brought the whole meal together. Fresh, tasty, and very satisfying. I’ll definitely be ordering again!"
"We've ordered from here often recently, always very good. Great quality and quantity for a fair price. Got the legume for the first time from this spot and I would recommend the veggie version, the chicken didnt add much at all. Mac and cheese is creamy and cheesy. Had my man's childhood drink too. Tral staple in outhouse now for times we're too tired to sleep. "
