The waffle was crispy not burned and not fluffy and soggy, see pictures it was perfect just as you expect a belgium waffle to be - I hope this is my experience going forward because in the past I wasn't consistently impressed. "(1) Kids Short Stack Pancakes are delicious and good portion for a child!
(2) My son chose the fruit for his side and it was a terribly small portion - about 2 or maybe 3 ounces.
(3) This was surprising because last weekend he had the kid's waffle (also good, but not as good as today's Kids Short Stack Pancakes), and last weekend the side of fruit was a generous / fair size, maybe 6-7 ounces.
(4) The Kids French Toast Sticks are out of this world!!! Great creativity in coming up with this recipe and flavor combination!!! The creme brûlée dipping sayceis genius! Please be sure the lid is secure on the sauce, though. Our lid had popped off and the sauce spilled all iverthe Kids French Toast Sticks and soaked them before they were delivered. I suspect its because of the heat of the sticks in the same container. If the restaurant wraps the sauce container in Saran Wrap before placing it in the Kids French Toast Sticks container, that will keep the lid from popping off and improve the quality of the dish, because the crispy sticks were tastier than the portions that had soaked up sauce for too long.
(5) The hard poached eggs were delicious! I chose "hard" poached to ensure they didnt arrive with the yolk already busted.even though I prefer a softer poached egg, I'll stick with ordering"hard" poached, because they withstood the travel very well and the yolk was still partially liquid. (The yolk was about 70 percent solidified and 30 percent liquid).
To give you more feedback, here is what we thought of prior orders. As you can determine, we definitely enjoyed this place enough to be a frequent return customer!
(6) The French fries were perfect! Crunchy, crispy, and not overly salted.
(7) The Hash Potatoes were disappointing. They were not crispy, and it was hard to find any bell peppers in them. They were a far cry from the well balanced and seemingly perfectly crisped Hash Potatoes with peppers shown in the restaurant's photo. Also, the plastic container partially melted / warped in transit, so we only tasted a few pieces from the center and tossed the rest, in case any plastic particles had transferred to the food.
(8) The cannoli donuts are insanely scrumptious!!! They taste like the best beignets in the world, married to the best cannolis ever!!! I do wish, however, they would add a side of "just 1" to their DoorDash menu, because 3 are too many for 1 person, especially if you're also having eggs or something else.
(9) Finally, note to the restaurant: Congratulations on your success! PLEASE: (1) add quiches to your menu (including a poblano pepper and cheese one, which would be a great compliment to your chili rellano meals and other menu items), and (2) for items with "eggs on top," such as the hashes, chilaquiles, tacos, etc, please add option for the eggs to be packed ON THE SIDE. We really want to try your chilaquiles and some other savory entrees but have not done so because they'll be ruined in transit if the eggs are packed on top or in the same container."
"Blueberry Yum Yum ToGo drink was delicious! So fresh and delicious and I love the packaging of their drinks in a plastic cup with a can top. So cute. The Carnitas Hash *was FULL of flavor. The sauce, the seasoning the cheese, potatoes and the freshness of all of it was perfect. The braised pork was excellent with not a hunk of chewy fat. Only delicious tender flavorful meat. I'm in love with this place!"
