As someone who considers himself a true foodie and has enjoyed Italian cuisine at countless restaurants over the years, I can honestly say that my recent meal at Domani Restaurant was one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had in a very long time.
The lobster ravioli was simply exceptional. Every bite tasted incredibly fresh, authentic, and beautifully handcrafted. It had that rare quality that instantly makes you feel as though you're enjoying a homemade family recipe passed down through generations. The pasta was perfectly prepared, the filling was generous and flavorful, and the balance of flavors was absolutely outstanding.
The true star of the evening, however, was the Rigatoni Bolognese. I do not say this lightly: it was probably the best Bolognese I have had in many years. The rigatoni was cooked perfectly al dente, with just the right texture and bite. The sauce was rich, hearty, deeply flavorful, and clearly prepared with care, patience, and high-quality ingredients. Every forkful delivered the kind of comforting, authentic Italian flavor that is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
What impressed me most was the attention to detail throughout the meal. Nothing felt rushed or ordinary. Every dish reflected pride, passion, and craftsmanship.
A heartfelt thank you to the chef and the entire team at Domni Restaurant. Your dedication to quality, hospitality, and authentic cuisine shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. "I am originally from Turkey and very picky about what is marketed as Turkish food around here (even in Patterson and Clifton known as little Istanbul).
This restaurant is out of this world. The food reminds me of the best of the best in Turkey.
We ordered the package for two which came with so much food including salad, four cold one hot (the liver) appetizers, mixed grill (generous sampling of all they have to offer and the Adana, döner and the lamb shish kebab so tasty). I couldnt get to the chicken fast enough and lost it to my son who also inhaled the eggplant (he surprised even himself with that actually).
There is dessert which I was too full to taste.
Last but not least the still warm heavenly bread which I forgot to include in the picture.

"The eggs are always very fresh and yummy. The only thing I found wrong with my order was that my side of white toast for both orders was missing. Usually everything is correct, but other than that, the food was great. The garlic mashed potatoes are something I would order again! I was blown away with the portion side because they definitely gave me a generous amount, which I've never received elsewhere. In the future, I will order the regular buttermilk pancakes instead of the silver dollar ones in the future, because those are normally fluffier. "This is my go to restaurant for Brazilian steak. I usually get either the picanha or skirt steak meal with 2 sides. This time I ordered the skirt steak with collard greens and black beans which were delicious as usual. The staff at the restaurant are very nice and care about their customers and will reach out.
